We live in an age where the percentage of young people surpassed the number of older people globally. Even though there is much to be said about this discussion, I think this development is completely positive.
The fundamental reason why the proportion of young persons is increasing compared to old people is a beneficial thing is the society’s demand for innovation and modernism. In our current century, almost every industrial area needs new ideas that can bring themselves to the future and these kinds of ideas always come from young, fresh minds. While older personnel in working areas are getting hard to be adapted to the hectic and complicated shape of the world’s flow, younger people are more successful in following new trends. Since they spent most of their time on social media, they will be informed about current things in the local and also global. So they put a difference on areas namely advertising, serving, business etc. Consequently, the growing population of younger people provides a more modern structure in industries.
Not only for the major factor of innovation in industrial areas, but also for letting more old people get retired; increasing the population of young people is necessary. As a result of the personal shortage in sectors a large number of old people cannot leave their jobs. In particular the sectors like construction, carpentry and plumbing, the largest percentage of workers are over 50 years old. However, this problem can be solved if there are enough numbers of young and talented people outside. Furthermore, the replacement between old and young personnel in business areas leads to a beneficial rivalry that creates productivity. Because young employees designate their works as a chance to prove themselves and rise.
In conclusion, an increasing proportion of young people compared to old people is a positive situation due to letting older people retire easily and making work areas more modern, innovative and rivalry.
