Nowadays, with the access of internet it is becoming very possible to solve any problems at distance without personal contacts in this advancing world. While there are clear benefits associated with virtual relations, I view this trend as a negative development.
The internet brought people dozens of opportunities, assisting in any case. Individuals are able to take any action online in any time. This means they no longer have to spend hours on difficulties. Mainly, they do not waste time waiting, for example, in road congestions and long queues in rush hours. One advantage of internet is that it is even viable to work for companies online through computers. This, in turn, gives a chance to the group of people which have limited ways to go work. Additionally, in this case, employers save time much more than that of who devotes long hours on the way to work. Moreover, consumers, who order goods online receive their product in a short period, contrasting to who complete this in a whole day.
Despite all these aspects, I still consider living in a way where internet is dominant a bit unfavorable. Firstly, even though the internet makes living much easier, it also creates barrier among people. Without any face-to-face contacts and socializing, people start to forget humanity and communication with close ones. This, on the one hand, breaks relationships. Secondly, finding solutions to everything via internet without any effort makes humans idle and work-shy. As a result, effectiveness will be reduced. Furthermore, purchasing online may not always be reliable. There are a lot of clients that are not satisfied with the service or the product they buy online. The reason for this is that once they get their order, they realize that the picture of the product they see online is totally different. This is what makes them suspicious about online shops.
In conclusion, although the internet offers huge advantages, I believe it has its adverse sides.
