In the era of globalisation, when the vast majority of career and life opportunities are concentrated in big cities, people use to move in such huge urban nodes where they do not know anyone. In opposite, even 50 or 60 years ago residents of small rural towns and countryside had been staying here whole life close with all neighborhood. In my opinion, the advantages of staying in a small town outweigh the disadvantages and I am going to explain it.
Firstly, one of the primary advantages of living in a small village is the strong sense of community. People are more likely to help and support each other when they are living a close bonds society. This sense can improve mental health and provide emotional support during difficult times. Additionally, small towns tend to have lower crime statistics, because of people are more aware of their surroundings and look out for one another.
However, there are also some disadvantages of living in villages. One major drawback is limited opportunities of education and employment. Villages often have couple of schools, and higher education institutions are usually situated in big cities, requiring young people to leave their homes in order to study there. Similarly, job prospects in villages are restricted, leading to lower wages and fewer career advancements.
Overall, residents in small towns enhance a supportive environment, but their limited career and life opportunities could not suit every person. Those who focused on hunting in the labor market may prefer huge cities, while calm and quite people are seeking peaceful life in a countryside.
