Computer such a benefit technology with a high credibility in term of saving data. This technology become an advantage for company and organization, which consist a lot of people inside to become easier to manage employees’ data in the structure manner. Those data will be kept for along time in their computer as long as their period of work. Company should know who are the employees they work with. However, if they are not working anymore, their data will be the company’s archive. But, if the company do not have the strong security to keep the data, it can be the threat of loosing data. So, I can say that the disadvantages will be outweigh than the advantages.
Obviously in this modern world, almost all companies open the job vacancy by online. They usually share the information through social media, such as LinkedIn or Instagram, include with applications’ link. Lots of them asked us the information about identification number, address, full name, telephone number, our parents name, religion, and so on. They sometimes need our personal identification photo and academic certificate, which is an important document for me and I am afraid if they misapply the documents. If I am not accepted, they usually say to keep my data secure in order to companies’ personal archive, so when they need another employee they will looking at their archive’s data and call the people who they need for the position. I am not 100% believe on them, because technology could be attacked by virus, called Malware, which can cause the data loosing or maybe abusing.
In my opinion, not just personal information of human, but also personal information of the company itself. For instance, when it comes to marketing things, social media will plays a vital role to promoting and advertising the product. The platform itself also needs a password that nobody knows, except their admin, who handle it. Those employees has to be a truthful person. Not little company, usually rotate the role position to prevent data loosing.
Overall, data that keep in the computer for along time is also not a good choice and could be dangerous. It can cause by virus or hacker, who trying to hack the company system. The company should tighten the data management and clouds security so the data could be save peacefully.
