Generally speaking, it goes without saying that nowadays almost everyone can take amazing photos due to the variety of phones introduced by hundreds of companies in contemporary society. However, despite the fact that ,obviously, the gadget that one uses for taking pictures plays a vital role in their quality I assume that there are other reasons why we still need professional photographers.
To begin with, one has to emphasize the fact that photographers, first, are valuable for their professional skills. To illustrate, people that are working for such magazines as „National Geographic” are very prepared for this job, since for usual images of how lions hunt zebras they theoretically could sit for hours waiting for the ideal card without food or toilet, in extreme climate conditions in a Sahara desert with a 40 degrees temperature in a special camouflage. Additionally, it can not be mentioned that any phones can not zoom pictures as a special apparatus that photographers have. By using them, they can take pictures of tiny insects, small species of birds, or a large group of dangerous animals that are at a very long distance from you.
Nevertheless, one must contend that around one hundred years ago people needed photographers even for usual daily photos: first, they had to wait photographer and then stand approximately for 15 minutes until he took a photo; after that, they had to wait approximately two weeks before this photo will come to you. Nowadays, this issue is absolutely solved. You can take even 20 photos in 1 minute and rephotograph if you do not like the background of your picture or if you suddenly closed your eyes. On top of that, contemporary technologies of installation help people to change photos on their gadgets immediately ,making them more colorful, clear, beautiful and so on.
To conclude, even though everyone has their own smartphone and possibly can take thousands of daily photos, I disagree with the premise that we do not need photographers anymore, since they can take so marvelous photos in so difficult climate conditions that ordinary people , without having relevant knowledge and strong patience, would never take in their lives.
