Worldwide digitalization has brought incredible appliances which may be used by everyone these days, namely well-known smartphones. The latest versions of cell phones have a lot of advanced and updated features compared to old ones, such as extremely good-quality cameras. I deem that this great innovation opens doors for each of us to the world of photography, nevertheless it does not decrease the worth of professional photographers.
Admittedly, one must acknowledge that social media requires well-developed skills of taking photos nowadays in order to have a good-looking account and even obtain profit; therefore, one’s ability to capture aesthetic and mesmerizing moments on camera is rather a necessity than a unique talent. Under these circumstances, a multitude of people, who are active on their social media profiles, logically, are eager to excel and utilize their skills of photography. For example, bloggers and celebrities should have beautiful pictures, since it may bring them attention and adoration, namely likes and views, and it is possible, as never before, to earn money by this means. Obviously, they acknowledge the need of being able to take pictures and share it with followers, although they could hire a professional photographer for this purpose, however,as far as i am concerned, this approach is not reasonable whatsoever. Photos taken by professionals are fairly different and do not conduct a person’s true personality.By and large, I deem that photography is a great way to express yourself and showcase your perception of the world around you and it should be available for every person, inasmuch as we all have innate desire to be seen.
Despite the persuasive arguments above, I must take into account that widely spread accessibility to cameras may compromise work and talent of individuals whose vocation is photography. Although, I am of the belief that professionals are and will always be needed, since solely to take pictures whatever you can and with certain and pivotal knowledge and approaches is a completely different thing. For instance, famous events require skilled people to take photos, if it would not be so, then anyone could come with their phone and do this. However, the reality shows the opposite, for people with innate talent and, literally, are called to this are always more valuable. Hence, it is wrong to assume that other people who are able to merely take nice pictures significantly affect the worth of the professionals.
In light of the above, I am convinced that talented and successful people definitely will not be substituted by those with an ability to do the same job, but one must admit that everyone possesses a free will to engage in what they are keen on.
