It is true that Technology has become such a crucial part of our lives that now it seems impossible to imagine a world without it. Some people claim that technological advancements has helped strengthen bonds among each other while other believe that it is doing the opposite. In my opinion, technology has definitely contributed in fostering strong bonds among people especially those who live far from each other.
Technology has changed our world for the better in many ways. Now people can stay in touch with each other despite being thousand miles away. With the onset of social media people can now share their happy and even sad moments. And there is no denying in the fact that it has helped people raise awareness about mental health issues. And now people have become more comfortable in sharing their experiences about these issues and consequently promoted the well-being of our society. Thanks to Technology, the world now seems like one big village where people are constantly communication with each other.
Although people are now connected with each other over long distances, but they seem distant from people they live with. Especially the younger generation prefer to spend more time on their phones or computers rather than their families or friends. As a result, the generation gap between younger and older is continues to expand. Moreover, Over-reliance on digital communication can promote unhealthy dependency on these gadgets.
To Conclude, No doubt technological advancements has made our lives easier, but it is very important to maintain balance between social relationships and online presence as nothing can replace an in-depth face to face human conversation.
