It is clear that the growth of petrol’s price will affect many factors as traffic and air pollution. I totally agree with the statement that it will decrease pollution, but I don’t think that I will have much influence on traffic.
According to the scientists 90% of the pollution are coming from cars and other transports. In fact, that they all work with petrol, people will decrease using it if its price will be higher than usual. İf the price of the petrol will increase, the prices of the taxis, buses will increase properly and people will use it rarely. For example, when you go out you will look to the price of a taxi and a bicycle, compare it and will decide to go by cheaper one.
Many people think that if number of cars which works with the help of petrol will decrease then the traffic will decrease too. But in my opinion it won’t take long. Because technology is developing and the number of electronic cars are increasing. After 5 or 10 years all transports will be replaced by electronic ones, so increasing petrol’s price will not have much effect on the traffic after 10 years and we shall need to find new ways to solve this problem.
So, I think that it will be better to teach people and them understanding how bad is traffic and pollution effect their life will be the best way to solve this problem. People should understand what they are doing, why they are doing it and how it will effect their future.
Summarise the topic, the price change will affect pollution and traffic. But we can use better ways to do what we want.
