Undoubtedly, human aspects and priorities have been evolved over the period of time and there is massive increase in resources and curiosity among people to explore the world. Therefore, international tourism has become a leading industry in the world. According to me, no doubt Over crowdness and depletion of resources are major negative impacts but the positive outcomes like increase in economy and cultural diversity definitely outweigh the disadvantages.
To commence with, development in technology have made it easier for people to travel around the world and explore new places. Resultantly, the travel spots all around the world have become overly crowded which has lead to deterioration of these beautiful spots. To exemplify, Bali, the number one tourist attraction is being crowded and polluted because increasing number of visitors spread litter all around and delete the resources. Moreover, there are cultural differences among individuals and they do not know enough about each other’s beliefs. Therefore, masses can unknowingly hurt other’s sentiments which can lead to major problems and cultural riots. Hence negative impacts of global trotting are a matter of concern.
On the other hand, despite the number of disadvantages, advantages still outweigh them. Increasing globe trotting is a source of income and employment for majority of masses. Tourism attracts many employment opportunities and contribute to national income of a country. For instance, many attraction and activities have been started in Bali like bungee jumping, sky diving, surfing and many unique theme restaurants and hotels have been opened. Therefore, all these are a source of employment at tourist attractions. Moreover, tourism increases the cultural diversity and increase the knowledge of people about different cultures. So global trotting should be encouraged to increase the economy of a place.
To conclude, no doubt there are many negative impacts of tourism but the positive aspects cannot be neglected. On my opinion, state authorities should make sure that tourism does not affect local resources and people.
