Attracting international tourists has many different advantages and benefits. Firstly, When international tourists are attracted to travel and visit the country, it will develop economically and culturally. For example, the country’s traditional dishes are known to many international friends. The country’s traditional cultural art forms are widely popular. Morover, the country’s economy is developed through taxi services, hotels and restaurants, temples, and entertainment areas. More importantly, connecting international tourism also contributes to increasing solidarity, exchange and cohesion between countries for sustainable economic development. Tourism contributes to affirming spiritual and cultural values, contributing to the development and conservation of important natural areas, conservation areas and national parks.
On the other hand, besides the advantages, there are also many disadvantages. When attracting many tourists, environmental problems will be difficult to solve. The amount of waste is increasing with the increase in the number of tourists causing loss of landscape, unsanitary conditions, affecting public health and giving rise to social conflicts. Morover, emissions from vehicles increase when tourists visit by plane, taxi, or bus, polluting the air. In addition, the large number of tourists means that more electricity is consumed, causing overloading of electricity production companies and electricity shortages.
In my opinion, international tourism has many advantages to develop the country’s economy and culture, and besides that, it also has disadvantages that affect people’s lives.
