Education is a fundamental right, which should be government funded and accessible to all. I completely agree. It has substantial impact on societal output and reduces educational inequalities.
First and foremost, the government’s financial support for education has a substantial impact on societal output and will enable impoverished students to finish their studies. So they can acquire a better education from high-quality colleges, which will not only put them on an equal footing with others but will also allow them to take advantage of training opportunities and gain work skills such as professional knowledge and interpersonal skills. To expand and prosper, I believe that each town requires a competent workforce and increased production. States should therefore invest in their students. For example, when the state is responsible for investing in all pupils, they may be educated at superior levels, and as a result, skilled scholars aid in the growth of social efficiency.
Secondly, education funding has the potential to reduce educational inequalities. In many countries, there are significant disparities in educational opportunities between urban and rural areas, as well as among different socioeconomic groups. By investing in education, governments can bridge these gaps and provide equal access to quality education for all students. This, in turn, helps create a more inclusive society where everyone has an equal chance to succeed. Take the example of Finland, where literacy is 100% and it is financially supported by the government in urban and rural areas.
To conclude I agree that financial funding by government increases the social efficiency and eradicates the discrimination among the people.
