It is posited by some that old individuals should not halt their working incumbency if they are still able to manage it. Whereas I acknowledge that there are several undeniable reasons for that, personally I will not support that view.
On one hand, It is understandable that prolonging career would obviously offer charming opportunities and keep revenue stable for middle-aged workers. Especially individuals who fully depend on some specific income and those who live alone without being close to their relatives, the deprivation of money would definitely cause a plenty of unpredictable hindrance for them since they will not have any budget to pay for numerous bills in their lives. So either to maintain a healthy and acceptable living standard or to obstruct the low-income population,Old people should keep on working. Nevertheless, the drawback of this is old people generally do not meet the need of health prerequisite and that leads to the fact that they keep throwing a sickies on a daily basis. For instance, older employees tend to be distracted and interrupted by a random headache when working.
Furthermore, beyond aforementioned benefits, I strongly believe that old employees should not be demanded to work over their retirement era since that may lead to the rate of unemployment would increase uncontrollably. Novices and unskilled employees who are lack of real-life experiences usually be looked down on and be underrated by employers as recruiters want to scout for ones who have experiences and more responsible which only be found in middle-aged employers. Ultimately, if individuals decide to work in their old age, young generation might have to face the truth of being made redundant and that would lead to the growth of unemployment in the near future. Take an example, post-graduates’ rate who have not had a decent job are being a crying shame simply because businesses tend to accept older appliers.
In conclusion, despite the fact that people would possess several advantages, however, the expansion of this phenomenon could lead to detrimental issue such as unemployment of young generation.
