In today’s world,many countries struggle with low unemployment rates and it is suggested that only primary level of education is needed for children in those regions.I totally disagree with this opinion and reasons behind my argument will be explained in the following paragraphs.
Without any doubt,education plays a fundamental role in every person’s life,as it lays a foundation to a successful career path and general knowledge.With this regard,if such policy is implemented,then its consequences should be considered not only for an individual,but also for a whole country.On a personal level,getting a primary education means that people will acquire basic skills such as writing and reading without delving deeper and developing further.In its turn,this strategy will not ensure them with a proper qualification and all a person can do will be blue collar jobs such as a builder or plumber.Moreover,not everyone,especially women, is capable to do perform well in these jobs,as it requires physical strength together with stamina due to their health state and as a result,the figure of unemployment will increase.
On a governmental level,the fact that this strategy will have negative impact in the future should not be overlooked.Firstly,if there is going to be only primary school,then universities and other tertiary education institutes will be closed.Consequently,people will have no motivation to stay in the country and will attempt to move to other countries leading to the shortage of population and ultimately ending up at risk of disappearing.Secondly,offering basic level of knowledge will be resulted in reduced numbers of workers that are responsible for public life which means that country will soon face many problems in essential spheres.For instance,without adequate healthcare,political and law system,any country have minimal chances of thriving.
To conclude,I would like to reiterate that this type of educational standard will lead to deteriorated system of a country and perhaps even in a disappearance of it.Therefore,i’d like to say that despite low levels of unemployment,everyone must have rights to get education.
