It is widely acknowledged that movies exert a significant influence on children. The impact manifests in various ways. There are numerous influences of pitcures including establishing their manners and goals. In my opinion, films retain both positive and negative impacts on children.
Through cinemas kids get an exposure to the world beyond their imagination which helps them in exploring new fields and new dreams to achieve. Films like Chak de India, Dangal or mission mangal inspire children to induce their interest in new professions and further promotes their knowledge and respect for different occupations. In addition, god-based animated movies aid them to be aware about our culture. For example, motion pictures like Baal Ganesha, Ramayan: The legend of prince Ram connect them with our origins.
Although cinemas have good impact on young ones, they also lead to some negativity. Consuming too many pictures also pushes them toward its addiction. Moreover, the little ones don’t have enough understanding to differentiate between right or wrong, and so are easily manipulated. For instance, horror movies influence kids into believing in ghosts and induce their fear toward dark. Hence, the theme of the motion pictures should be taken into account before presenting it in front of the little guys.
To conclude, the minors watching films have both advantageous and disadvantageous effects. However, if this activity is done under the guidance of the parents and the choice of movies is timely monitored, then the negative impact can be controlled. Hence, parents have a control over the picture that holds influence on kids.
