Studies already show that it is very important to include exercise in your routine; starting from an early age would be more beneficial. It is also believed that physical education and sports are as important as mind development for children. I believe that physical education and sport should be compulsory for all students in all schools to help develop their physical health.
Almost all schools have sports, but not all of them have made it mandatory for all students. It would be a great way to introduce children to different types of sports, and some may even show their interest in pursuing it further. Playing any kind of sport is a great way to build stamina and improve physical health. My school had compulsory sports like swimming, and students can choose from badminton and volleyball. It also helped us in taking a break from studying other subjects. Having swimming as a mandatory sport, it also sparked my interest after a few classes.
Furthermore, providing physical education is also equally important. Teaching physical education to students can guide them about the sports they are interested in. It can also prevent children from suffering any injuries. Teachers can not give attention to all students. In this case, a well-educated student in this matter is very helpful.
Summing everything up, I would like to conclude that it would be beneficial for students to have sports and physical education made mandatory by school. Children starting sports and physical activity at an early age is great for their physical health.
