It is generally acknowledged that the growing volume of human-generated waste poses a serious worldwide challenge. In this essay I will discuss and several reason for this situation and recommend solution to reduce rubbish which created by people.
Nowadays population buy far more items than they usually needed and teenagers every year wants purchase new technic even old ones still functional, new clothes even they have the same, and other things. As a result a huge number of waste are generated every year. Another dramatically causes is overuse disposable napkins, tableware and packaging. Many countries use products and water packaged in plastic containers because they are convenient and inexpensive. In addition, plastic bags are widely used in households because they are cheap and easily accessible. However, this materials are rarely recycled in many countries and they pose a threat to the environment and remain in the form of waste for many years.
To reduce rubbish on Earth the government and every resident should work together. The government should introduce laws on waste recycling and management. Introducing higher taxes or panish for individuals and companies that frequently use plastic containers could be an effective way to solve this problem. Another effective solution would be promote the use eco-friendly and biodegradable disposable products through advertising. Another important step is opening recycling industries in every cities and develop innovative technologies reuse and processing of waste.
In conclusion, the rising amount of rubbish is mainly caused by disposable napkins, tableware and packaging. This problem can be solve by changing people’s behavior and stronger government regulations.
