learning about what is wrong or right is crucial for children to be taught at their early age. punishment is an option to teach them the differences between them. in my opinion punishment in needed for children’s learning path and plays an important role in their attitude in the future.
the character of children, starts to develop at younger age. so it is important that they face the consequences of the wrong things that they do. punishment by their parents can teach them everything that they do has a result and they have to think before every action. also in that way they can learn societies rules and understand how to have a appropriate manner in public. I think punishment can teach individuals to be a better person and their future life might be less problematic.
personally, I believe that physical punishment is not effective and teachers and parents should try different methods. for instance, when a child gets angry and it ends up in breaking a toy, parents can avoid the child to go and play with their friends as a punishment until the child understand the action they did. I think that could give children a better lesson than a physical punishment.
in conclusion, punishment is necessary in children development and it is helpful for the to learn what is wrong and right. using physical punishment is not recommended but other approaches can be useful to teach the children a good lesson.
