It is true that scientists and tourist nowadays can have the opportunity to travel to remote natural environment, such as the North Pole. While this development could be harmful, I would argue that the benefits of this development outweigh the drawbacks. There are some negative reasons for this development. Many tourists who could travel to such special destination might destroy the natural habitat. In this way, the ecosystems will be unbalance, and species will be in danger of extinction. This could lead to serious global problem, and scientists may not have any useful finding. This will wasting the government funds and make the planet much more worse.
In the other hand, traveling to such destination could be beneficial for many reasons. Firstly, understanding these environment require a lot of findings, so with this development, scientists can easily travel and get to know better about such environment.
Secondly, tourism help economic growth. In this way, government which are in charge of these environment could have the access to take care of it. As a result, the destination could have better protection. For example, endangered species like pandas or rhinos could have better life environment if they could be found by scientists in the wild life. Thirdly, this development is helping humanity to understand better about the world.
For the reasons metioned above, I strongly belive that the benefits of the development which is the possibility of travel to natural life outweigh the drawbacks because of the advantages that it might brings.
