In this fast paced world, many people want to delegate some of their core work expectations to others. Their busy schedules, mobilization issues or financial constraints may lead to this decision of handing over work to others.
On the one hand, people who like to pass their jobs to others are willing to pay for the work they are doing. This not only pass the task to the other person, but also the responsibility to complete it ontime with expected quality. For example, high school teenager may be interested to seek such job which requires go for shopping and this experience will make them financially beneficial as well as sense of responsibility which can be very useful in the future. We may assume as these jobs are routine work or have no value for the person doing it but I believe they provide same experience the employees gain from professional job in certain aspects such as accountability and integrity. These jobs also requires problem solving skills and particularly communication skills to succeed. Hence, establishing such jobs can be considered as good cause for the local communities and overall society.
On the other hand, I believe that people should not attempt to do these jobs by themselves. Firstly, as the entire world is currently undergoing with some level of economic downturn and this requires people to work more longer time than usual. If they spend their valuable time with going around to get their food stock or taking care of their children they loose the money that they can earn during that time. For example, person who is either a doctor or a lawyer can earn more money by working long hours and this can benefit their future. Secondly, there are many people who are facing issues with physical abilities or who need support for mobilizing. Such people can benefit by delegating the core jobs to others. Having said that, some people just want to pass such tedious tasks to others just because they are lazy to do stuff like laundry. But, delegating these tasks to others can benefit those people who receive the job as they get the on the job training and valuable experiences.
In conclusion, passing core jobs such as child care and housing errands is sometimes necessary due to their individual circumstances. Financial concessions, physically demanding work and laziness may lead people to delegate such jobs.
