Old buildings are hard to be renovated financially, so spending money on modern buildings could be more beneficial. In my opinion, old buildings can be studied before reparation but mostly finances should be spent on designing new houses.
Before deciding on the renovation of old buildings the government or companies in charge of it need to comprehend the structure of them. Materials used for ancient buildings are slightly different from ones used now. Therefore, repairing the building or demolishing it should be agreed after fully studying the building. For example, there are not many places to build new houses in city, so areas with old buildings still can be re-established after the government’s approval and using new materials can be affordable with extra funding.
Building modern living areas is advantageous in terms of designing and safety. Old buildings cannot be reshaped or redesigned due to the used materials and the cost of decorations. Instead, investing in new houses can lead to better quality of living because they contain significant needs such as energy for heating, lighting and cooking. Furthermore, security has more features along with advanced technologies such as door entry, automatic control of everything, smart assistance and so on. For instance, a person is more intended to purchase a modern house with unique facilities, rather than a renovated apartment that should have been destroyed.
In conclusion, repairing old buildings is more expensive than building new ones. Even though old houses can be re-established after the approval, designing modern buildings has numerous advantages.
