In this modern era, contamination of the atmosphere and congestion of roads by vehicles are the major issues faced by the public. Harmful gases from factories and the travel requirements of humans are the major reasons for these problems. In this essay, I would like to discuss both aspects.
There are several factors responsible for increasing pollutants and the number of vehicles on roads. Firstly, the harmful chemicals that are used by different industries are the culprits behind the pollution of the earth. To illustrate, as per a survey conducted by the BBC, 90 percent of automotive companies use these dangerous substances to produce their products and release toxicants into the air. On the other hand, the transportation services and personal vehicles used by the common public are the leading cause of traffic congestion on highways and local roads.
Everything has some adverse effects, and they can be controlled by safety rules and regulations. In order to control toxic substances in the atmosphere, the government should impose some new taxes and regulations on manufacturing firms. In addition to that, promotional awareness and educational campaigns can help the common people to use hybrid buses and electric cars. For instance, the carbon tax implemented by American officials has led to a 50 percent increase in EVs. Last, though by no means least, proper management of non-renewable resources can aid in pollution control.
