Nowadays, when technologies are advanced, strategies of companies affecting the surrounding habitats are problematic, therefore they should observe and lend a hand to help carry out environmental issues. In my perspective, businesses will be the ones to have the responsibility to deal with their mess but this statement will not always be correct as some other factors could affect it
As mentioned, Industries have to cope with the problems and find solutions for them. First and foremost, the damage that appears in the environment, is mostly caused by fumes, toxic wastes and other pollutants disposed into the habitats by factories. As a result, these elements contributed to many global issues such as the greenhouse effect, climate change, earthquakes and tsunamis. Moreover, the injuries they caused to the environment could also affect citizens living around the industrial areas. Thus, they are vulnerable to the pollutants released by factories. With such many visible issues, some solutions are proposed to help solve the problem including protecting the surrounding habitat, reducing the discharge of smoke and toxic wastes from factories and raising the workers’ understanding of preserving the environment.
Nevertheless, some other factors are still proving that the aforementioned statement is not absolute. First of all, to survive in a competitive environment, businesses have to prioritize producing money and maximizing profit. Furthermore, industries have already contributed to improving the environment by paying taxes as a part of it was spent on protecting the habitat. Thus, they only need to focus on producing finances to help boost the economy.
In conclusion, businesses should maintain the preservation of the environment while also contributing their finances to promote the economy rather than just concentrating on one aspect. imbalanceinbalance
