CEOs should be paid higher salaries that other employees in large companies. I firmly agree with this notion, because they have to dedicate a significant part of their time and energy to direct the company. Additionally, other workers have often less responsibility compared to directors. In this assay, I will discuss it in details.
First, managing directors need to spend a considerable amount of their time and energy to lead and manage their business. They are responsible for managing and directing company in multiple dimentions. Therefore, CEOs need to be dedicated to their bussiness to reach their goals and perspective that take a significant amoun time and effort. For exmaple, a chairperson might stay at office after work hours or even weekends to handle of their responsibilities and manag several tasks. Additional, CEOs attend long meetings to negotiates for benefits of compaies, while they are under untolerable stress. Consequently, their salaries are usually more than others employees, compensating their endeavors to direct and promote companies.
Second, the responsibility of other staffs are often lower than directors. One of important point in determing the amount of salary is the burden of tasks that employees shoud do. This is because some career need more advanced skills and abilities and people should do complicated tasks, on the other hand, others occupations are simpler, without cosiderable resposiblity. Therefore, usually payment is according to type of tasks and skills are nessaciated. For instance, there are data scientists in the firms that they are just reponsible for analysing data that directors provid to them for finding trends and patterns. Although their work is important for company to develop an insight for CEO about current situation, their responsibility is much les in comparion to director who should present findings of this analyse, make decisions based on them.
To conclude, while payment of staff is lower than managing director, we need to consider that they have lower responsibilities compared to CEOs, whom are more dedicated their time and energy to lead companies to achieve their goals. Then, I agree that executives should have higher income than other employees.
