The line graph describes four different kind of meat products (fish, lamb, beef and chicken) consumed by a person in grams during a week over the period of 15 years starting from 1985.
Overall, the intake of chicken by people significantly rose over the period and was the most consumed item in meat. While, beef and lamb consumption faced major decline at period end, which were the most consumed at the beginning. However, the consumption of fish remained constant throughout the period.
In 1985, beef consumption was around 250 grams per week by a person which was the highest than remaining products. Moreover, chicken and lamb were consumed equally which is around 150 grams. But, fish consumption remained unchanged which is nearly 50 grams per week.
Over the years, intake of chicken increased by 5o grams every year and reached at its highest of 300 grams by 2010. On other hand, beef was most consumed by a person, that is around 250 grams in 1990, whose consumption dipped significantly and reached at 100 grams in 2010. Additionally, the lamb products also faced a gradual decline and was consumed equally as fish of about 50 grams at the end of period.
