In the present time, several wildlife creatures are facing a threat of getting extinct all over the world. Their population is declining substantially, and in near future, they might get vanished from our environment. It is crucial to look out for these endangered species as they provide sustenance in the ecology, and provide natural resources to human beings. The major cause for their extinction is mainly human activities, since the growing human population is destroying habitats of the vulnerable plants and animals.
Every creature play their part in the ecosystem for it’s maintenance. Some animals control the number of other animals by hunting them, while some gets hunted. Likewise, some plants are hold responsible for controlling the spreading of other plants. Similary, these species also contribute to the culture of some communities, as these creature are highly respected, in some places, they are even worshipped. Moreover, it’s our responsibility to conserve them and assist them in controlling their population.
Several human acitivies like illegal poaching is significantly affecting the number of animal and plants in verge of extinction. Poachers, usually hunt animals for their skin and other body parts which are considered highly valuable in black markets. In addition, increasing human population is causing distruction in the natural habitats of these animals and plants. Growing, urbanization and industrialisation in many developing nations is one of the major cause for these living beings decreasing in number.
In conclusion, extinction of many wildlife creatures is increasing day-by-day all over the world. Their life is equally important as human beings and their safety must be ensured, while many illegal activities and increasing global population is triggering the decline in biodiversity.
