Nowadays, a huge number of animals are facing extinction because of humans’ actions. The main causes for this can be deforestation, hunting and poaching. In order to tackle this problem, stricter laws should be introduced and people should create more wildlife reserves and breeding programs.
Firstly, many animals are on the verge of extinction because people are destroying their habitats such as forests, by cutting trees extensively for construction and other purposes. As a result, the ecosystem of the forests becomes fragile as trees can be both shelters and food sources for the majority of the animals. Furthermore, the number of poachers and hunters is increasing because animals can be killed for trade and sold for their precious ivory,fur and meat. As people hunt some rare animals, their number is gradually decreasing and this ultimately leads to extinction. For instance, the Tasmanian tiger is an extinct creature which was executed massively for their valuable fur.
However, there may be some solutions for mentioned-above issues. One of them can be proposing stricter rules and laws for the ones who are contributing to loss of habitats and hunting. Illegal hunting and cutting trees in the areas where wild creatures in danger of extinct live should be banned. This may help to prevent animal-killers from hunting, which enable animals to live longer and breed successfully. Another way would be creating national parks and a nature preserve and launching breeding programs. In nature reserves, animals would thrive as they are protected from the guns of cruel hunters. If breeding programs are established, humans can find an effective way to increase the population of rare animals. For example, in Uzbekistan, there is a national park called Zamin where animals are increasing in number year by year because of not only safe habitat which is free from hunting but also affective reproducing programs.
In conclusion, a lot of animals are threatened with extinction due to voracious behavior of humans. This is because people are ruining the places where animals live and hunting them too much. Viable solution to stop them from hunting and cutting trees would be implementing harsh laws. In addition, new reproduction projects should be established and used for the future success of animals.
