People have hunted animals for flesh, skin, tusks, to make leather, trophies of hunting and expedition, etc. The early men hounded for animals because that was their means of survival in the cold stricken areas were vegetation used to be minimal and due to other factors. The lack of knowledge about the importance of animal kingdom in the early era caused many animal species to face extinction. Elephants are tortured and mercilessly killed for their fabulous tusks that can be used for carving or to make other ornamental items. National parks and safaris can help induce the awareness that as we humans need to have freedom so survive then so do animals. The education system must include it in their system to prioritise teaching students how to be a good citizen of not only the country they live in but also to have the decorum to be a civilised individual for being on the planet Earth.
Monitoring the endangered animals on a regular basis by letting them survive in their natural preserve can help zoologists to come up with better tactics that can be adopted for the future. It all comes down to how we must respond to mother nature so that we can help preserve the endangered animals from becoming extinct. We must learn from our failure in the past and improve to adapt methods that will be beneficial to both parties.
