A number of individuals believe that the administration and private companies should take necessary steps for environmental conservation, while others argue that people can contribute significantly to accomplish environmental goals. Although society can work in unity for safeguarding the nature, I believe that private and public sectors by effectively using financial reserves can tackle environmental degradation.
On the one hand, individuals can work in cohesion to develop green technologies and implement them to achieve sustainable development. To elaborate, these eco-friendly practices can be adopted to reduce the carbon footprints emitted from vehicles and industries, as such emissions deteriorate the earth. For instance, the use of electric cars can be promoted among residents to safeguard the atmosphere from toxic smoke and hazardous chemicals released from fuel-based transports. However, I contend that bringing everyone together requires notable efforts, which is quite challenging to achieve.
On the other hand, it is thought that governmental organisations and large firms can allocate funds for the preservation of environment. To explicate, new regulations along with public campaigns can be started to raise awareness among citizens so that people becomes motivated and put in efforts to maintain the ecological balance in nature. Additionally, companies can also donate a specific amount to non-government organisations to protect the earth’s biodiversity. For example, a renowned fashion brand named Mama Earth aims to plant 10,000 trees every year in India.
In conclusion, despite the fact that individuals can minimise air pollution and contamination by planning efficiently, I strongly believe that monetary funds could be utilised by the authority and major firms to fulfill the same targets.
