It is said that the rapid growth of crime rates caused by poverty and lack of education is advocated by many individuals. However, in a different light, this issue is also caused by many factors, so I will discuss both views and give my opinion in this essay.
There are many reasons that explain why many people cite that lack of education is the root cause of crime. Firstly, not having access to high-quality will lead to many challenges for the awareness development of individuals. By educating people between good and bad actions and consequences of illegal acts, it can help people understand fully about the price they should pay for their behaviors, thus preventing them from falling into the path of crime. However, without education, people can be reduced aware of legal boundaries, which can increase the crime rate of individuals. Moreover, poverty is also caused by lack of education in inhabitants. Lack of education restricts individuals from accessing decent jobs, so they cannot serve their livelihood and suffer from financial problems. When they face many financial problems without support from anyone, they can use these problems as a reason for their illegal behaviors.
On the other hand, lack of education and poverty are not two of the primary causes of crime. Firstly, family background is also one of the main factors that can lead to crime. Living without parental supervision, or suffering domestic violence can lead to numerous negative impacts for criminals’ psycho, which can be used as a reason for their illegal acts. Not stopping there, thanks to the rapid development of technology, crime has become easier than ever. When some media platforms can be accessed easily, many people can frequently exposure to violence or criminal content on media, which can also be utilized by criminals as a factor contributing to their behaviors.
In conclusion, although lack of education and poverty can seem like main reasons lead to illegal acts, there are a whole range of other factors, which can also contribute to crime behaviors. Therefore, we not only need to handle education and finances but also need to try to mitigate other factors to achieve a society without crime in the future.
