It is strongly believed that promoting a deep understanding and practical experiences in each aspect of knowledge should be the key aim of education in lieu of just catering for exams. Although there are many people in favour of this viewpoint ,from my standpoint , I entirely agree with this concept for two reasons .
On the one hand, exams play a significant role in academic assessment. due to its objectiveness on the basis of the high-quality test, examiners are able to judge their student’s levels comprehensively. it goes without saying that all candidates sitting an exam have a great desire to get an excellent score, this, therefore, is an invisible motivation for them to make efforts. In addition, recruiting the applicants, applicants have a tendency to look through their academic performance at university which is stored by results in exams. this means preparing for the exams is extremely vital.
On the other hand, thorough understanding and hands-on application have a higher position in education’s goal. This is because the core view of education is to assist learners to have an ideal job in the future instead of solely mastering abstracted theories without applying it in practice. Hence, terrific academic performances just make a strong impression at the first time while insight and hands-on experience is the determining factor to achieve a high-paid job. It goes without saying that the more expert they are, the higher position they have, allowing them to get a higher income in their career path.
In conclusion, while exams are considered as the most pivotal test to archive their results, long-lasting knowledge and practices are core values of education. We, thus, ought to gain clear knowledge and application to get a high income and simultaneously take exams as a tool to assess what we absorb at tuition.
