Today’s issue of clean air over big cities, especially metropolises, remains relevant, and over time, the situation may only deteriorate. Due to a large number of machines, such as cars and urban factories that emit harmful substances into the atmosphere, this problem requires a relatively quick solution.
Sprawling cities lead to many ecological issues, which already have negative effects inside and near large cities, particularly in terms of air pollution. Urban infrastructure requires natural resources to satisfy citizens’ demands but saturates the ambient air with various substances, including dust. This can be illustrated with an example of manufacturers such as waste incineration plants. The gas emissions from them affect residents, causing mass illnesses, not only lung ones. To reduce this impact and improve the situation, I believe there are a few ways.
The first measure is that such factories should be relocated away from big metropolises. This could relieve most citizens from severe lung illnesses. The second and more important measure is that they need to be upgraded to be more environmentally friendly. However, a comprehensive solution to move away and modify harmful factories is a sensible step to cope with air pollution. Nowadays, up-to-date technologies make it possible to take this step. Governments should always consider this, as the health of citizens is a very important issue.
In conclusion, there is a comprehensive solution to address the problem of the accumulation of aggressive gases over big cities as a result of human activity. It may take some resources, but it is worth it.
