Many argue that the increasing trend of digital nomads who work remotely effect the local communities and job security. While, others view this as a postive development that promotes globalization and work-life balance. In my prespective, i view this trend as a postive development, which could cause interconnection among different people and have better work-life balance.
On one hand, people belive that the digital nomads have affected the local commuities by working remotely. When they initally start doing that the face-face interaction between indviduals decreased which significantly affected the communities. In addition, it also causes job insecurity. individual who are more qualified aquired employment from woking distant, in contrast to those who live within those communities that are less qualified. These boosts unemployment and jobsecurity in the communities.
On the other hand, some view this as a positive development which further enhances cultural exchange and work-life balance. when individuals work remotely they can maintain their work-life balance more because they are able to concentrate and do better when they are in their living space. Furthermore, they will be able to meet diverse people and exchange their culture which increases globalization and networking.
In my prespective, the growth in digital nomads has postive development. They make work more convinent and efficient which further improves their work-life balance. In addition, they also get to exchange their culture which can help them broden their horizon and prespective. For instance, my mom works remotely for an oversees company, which made it much easier to be present at home and at work. Therefore, i think maintaning that is crucial for a balanced work and personal life.
Overall i belive, The concept that digital nomads impacts local communities and job security are just reducule from thoes that are not qualified for the work. In contrast, the rise in remote jobs have impacted cultural exchange and personal lives positvely.
