In today’s world, more and more renewable energy sources are invested in by governments as a way of reducing environmental damage. Though some people argue that this may not bring a lot of advantages, I strongly believe that the benefits still outweigh the drawbacks.
One of the biggest disadvantages of renewable energy is that it costs too much. This can be explained by the fact that governments must put many efforts into seeking enough money, time, materials, workers, and maintenance fees to build successful renewable energy projects. For a typical example, some developing countries may find it significantly hard to make such projects come true owing to the disagreement of the citizens. Consequently, renewable energy sounds ideal in theory, but it is difficult to implement in practice.
Despite the challenges of finance, it is obvious that renewable energy sources can play such an important role in developing more than society. This can be due to the fact that such sources can have a lot in protecting the environment. For instance, sources like solar and wind power truly play a crucial part in keeping the air clean. Therefore, thanks to renewable sources, environmental damage and climate change will be reduced effectively. In addition, it seems like it may cost a lot in the first period of carrying out the plans, but if both governments and citizens try to put renewable sources into practice, that can become a sustainable plan, and its monthly cost will be lower than electric sources so far.
In conclusion, having said that renewable sources may occur some drawbacks; however, if people have a potential of their future, renewable sources should be invested in heavily by governments because of their wonderful advantages.
