Number of nations have the provision of mandatorily enrolling their youths in military service after the completion of the school. However, I disagree with this view, because forcing youths either men or women to perform military jobs in my opinion, would not be a good idea for any nation.
Though, it is our responsibility to preserve our loving nation, it is not right to implement the practice of enforcing youths into military service because of number of reasons. First and Foremost, military job is not an easy task. Everyone may not be capable with coping up with harsh military trainings. To clarify, in North Korea the news of numbers of young teenagers dying while performing military training is disclosed. Another reason has to be the risk of it. To illustrate, when a military man goes on the border to protect the nation, they put their life in risk daily. Also, there is no surety of them returning back their family member. Thus, military job is not a simple task as it requires harsh training.
Similarly, the practice of forcing young men and women to join army does not make any sense. This is because, every teen may not want to pursue this path while some wants to enroll in different career options. Also, teenagers are the pillar and builder of any nation and going against their may not be right idea. Moreover, when every youth are enrolled in military service, the country will lack behind in other aspects of development which is an another reason of not adopting this practicing.
In conclusion, although country needs its youth who can fight for their existence, I do not think, it is good for any nation to force their youths to enroll in military jobs.
