Firstly, discriminations usually come from people’s common misunderstanding or conservative thoughts. Some people choose to be a criminal while some of them may have experienced an unavoidable accident which led them to the wrong path. Because of this after prison its difficult to be employed in any kind of job which leaves them penniless and triggers their need for robbing, kidnapping or threatening people for money. Secondly, some people get used to their life in prison and can’t let it go even after they are given freedom. These problems could arise because of health issues and psychological problems or its core reason might be their family and how they were brought up. For instance, serial killers and pedophiles might be the fruit of these situations.
There are 2 effective solutions to this problem. The first way to solve this problem is separating offenders to 2 groups by light and heavy crimes so they won’t have interactions and negative impact might be prevented. The second way to tackle this problem is the government should provide them jobs after releasing them from prison by looking at their behavior and willingness to work while constantly watching and checking on them.
In conclusion, strict and fair systems implemented by the government from the beginning and people’s understanding and care is the key solution for this problem. If such measurements are taken reoffending will eventually die down.
