Nowadays people have the opportunity to live both in a house and in an apartment
with a lot of benefits. Personally, I think that when a person chooses where to live he or she needs to pay attention to their personal conditions instead of relying on others experience.
Although countryside does not have a surplus of resources as city has, government tries to develop the urbanistic side of it. Firstly, the internet works well in every part of the country despite how big the village is. Secondly, modern conveniences such as delivery is possible even in forests sometimes. Finally, people who are working remotely can have more motivation to spend more time in the fresh air instead of just sitting at home or going to a cafe. So, these conditions are attractive to young couples or single people because they can easily travel to city if, for example, they need some medical care.
The opposite location to live is a flat in the city. The benefits that are described above are a common thing to people who live here. Furthermore, there are other pros such as the absence of transport problems. Although some technical obstacles can happen, it is the fact that in the city you can travel from one part to another without your own car simply by using public transport. So, living in such crowded place is relevant for elderly people and families with children because of the ability to easily travel to some public places like schools, swimming pools or hospitals.
Finally, I can agree that both apartments and houses have their own benefits to different types of social groups. People need to weigh the advantages and disadvantages that are relevant to their lives and choose what is their cup of tea: living in an urban place with a number of people or in an area with fresh air and absence of neighbours.
