There is a common belief that, many customs and traditional behavior are no longer relevant to modern life and are not worth keeping. Even though this fast-paced life requires particular style and globalized behavior, I firmly disagree and think that we should protect our way of clothing and traditions.
As globalization progressively gaining popularity and dominating most of the countries, their traditions such as: clothing and behavior are changing. This development is causing people to wear same clothes and behave the same way. For example: Japan, people there used to wear their traditional customs: Kimanos and naturally were calm and more reserved than the most. Since globalization hit their country habitats started to dress as western countries and as of behavior many of them are getting inspired by Europian countries and trying to act exactly the same. These changes are leading to the country losing their uniqeness of clothing and their behavior.
Equally, if not more social media is creating the atmosphere, where celebrities are biased. Western actors or even bloggers are getting more and more appealing among the young people, which is triggering globalization.
As compelling as this argument may seem, demanding environment we are living in might be strategic by wanting everyone to be equal in every possible way: clothing and acting. These factors are the ones because of which we are irrelevant to each other and unfortunately are not often treated the same. From the early times people tend to be racisstic towards one another and that lead to massive conflicts. To prevent racissism globalization might be the clever decision from the state.
To conclude, I think there are several reasons why people are dumping the traditional customs and their behavior, however, protecting the national traditions has the greater weight.
