It is undeniable fact that artworks and historical items demonstrate the identity and culture of each community. While some argue that it is vital to display solely art and history of their own country, others believe that museums must include both international and national artworks due to their historical and cultural value of each item. I will examine both perspectives before presenting my own views.
One the one hand, it is evident that artworks or historical objects play a vital role in history of countries, highlighting the significance of the culture, traditions, and customs. In consequence, each country has responsibility to indicate its own culture of either through art galleries or through museums. These measures could help people all around the word to become aware of cultural values of the specific society. In contrast, if the museums display the artworks related to other nations, they may only waste their budgets and reduce the importance of their country’s art, history, or even traditions.
On the other hand, the critics of this issue contend that each artwork has its own benefits which can inevitably have positive consequences for nations. It is essential to display historical and art items of various countries as they can remarkably impact economic growth. For instance, a large number of tourists travel to these countries to visit these work or even purchase them which could bring countless economic advantages for communities. Although museums may face some obstacles during this process, their benefits overweight their disadvantages.
In conclusion, I personally believe that displaying a wide variety of cultural and historical objects can contribute to countries’ economic, income, popularity, and art. Despite their challenges, art galleries and museums must mix diverse collections from at least several societies if they intend to be remain competitive in modern world.
