There is no doubt that nowadays all around the globe, sanctions for criminals not as heavy as compared with the past centuries causing people to be less afraid of law. To elaborate in detail, in the past times the law may use the execution as a punishment method more easily. For instance, the charge for committing a murder was a death sentence in many countries. Another point is that culprits may be excluded by the society which can cause social isolation. To be more precise, finding a proper job for a culprit can be challenging due to their reputation causing them to go toward to illegal jobs. To exemplify, a person founding guilty of robbery can have a hard time to get a job, thus their change of committing the exact crime may increase due to lack of money.

Speaking of the precautions should be taken to combat this problem, punishments can be heavier for the illegal actions. In other words, guilty people should be sanctioned as though as their crimes. To illustrate, the time that spent in jail can be prolonged. Moreover, the authorities such as governments, may help those to reintroduce themselves into society after they out of the jail. Thus, those people may feel more accepted by public. As an instance, making them serve for the public or finding a job can prevent them commit a crime again.

To sum up, the reasons of repeating illegal actions after the first proved crime can be related with light sentences and social isolation. To tackle with these, people got in illegal actions should be heavily charged as their crime, and ex-criminals should be reintroduced to the society.
