Although such topics, in all likelihood, never will yield a consensual agreement, a constructive dialogue on the negative impacts of technological gadgets on personal relationships can lead to thought-provoking discussions. My view is that, irrespective of the numerous arguments that exist on either side, technology is hurting one’s relationship with family and friends. There are several reasons in favor of my viewpoint. Firstly, people have become more materialistic. This is because they are spending more time on gadgets instead of talking to people. Another interesting point is that technology has helped people to maintain long-distance relationships.
