These days, a technology enhancement has been increasingly observed. This raises a concern that the traditional educational system will be replaced in the future, where students will study with robotic teachers at school. However, I strongly believe that traditional schools still remain important in 2050 even though the technology has been improved.
One of the most significant reasons why the traditional system of education will continue in the future is that a technology system is not suitable for every range of students. To illustrate, students in the kindergarten school cannot study with a robotics-teaching system because they are very young and cannot control themselves to follow the teachers’ instruction, which humanoid teachers do not have the ability to control them as much as human teachers. Moreover, even though robots can perform several tasks, they cannot deal with facing problems as effective as human. Human teachers can understand children and know how to solve problems rather than robot because human are far more comprehensive than artificial intelligence.
Another advantage of old schools is that it encourages participation among students and teachers. Robotic teachers are only done for their given tasks, which they do not have the tangible interaction with their students. Not only the relationship between students and teachers but also the relationship among students that they will less socialize. On the contrary, students ,who go to school, have more opportunities to interact with their friends because they can do an activity together at school.
To conclude, it is true that digital teaching system can benefit students, but I personally believe that old school should not be displaced because digital system is not applicable in all ranges of students, this can reduce the interaction skill in children and teachers.
