Some people find life in a large urban area challenging, while it is considered as more convenient by others. Although there are some pros of inhabiting in a city, this decision is not without its cons.
Living in a huge city is more practical. First and foremost, the main merit of this may be transportation. People who inhabit in a city have greater chances for transports, as there are many transport links such as buses, private vehicles, metro. Case in point, if their work office located far from their houses, it gives them opportunity to arrive at the time, within at least 20 minutes. They, as a result, don’t experience any stressful situations. Furthermore, the second upside is educational and healthcare facilities. They get access to prestigious schools, colleges and universities as well as that availability of top-tier hospitals with specialized medicines and medical services. Inhabitants of city, in turn, have a chance to study in a modernized environment and recover with good services as quick as possible.
On the other hand, life in a big urban area is considered as a difficulty. First downside of city life is known as cost of living. If someone resides in a city, they possess expenses for housing, food and services. There is also increased cost of daily necessities such as food, clothes and apartments as well. In addition to that, not only do people suffer from cost of living, but they also struggle with pollution and health issues. Although there are many opportunities with transports, it have a greater air pollution as it works as a result of fuel and gas. The more people breath duty air, the more they get certain illnesses. People, consequently, are suffered from health troubles.
To conclude, while the main negative sides of city life contemplates as more challenging way of existence, residing in large metropolis is not without its merits.
