Several people argue that the media’s reporting on superstars is harming children. In this essay, I strongly agree that media coverage of celebrities harms children.
There are many reasons why people believe that the media coverage of celebrities has a negative effect on children. One of the major reasons is that children may copy the behaviour and lifestyle of celebrities. Nowadays, young people watch celebrities’ lives on social media and television, and then they want similar clothes and electronic devices. As a result, they pressure their families and parents for luxury items. Another major reason is that celebrities show bad culture in media coverage. For example, several people, when they see celebrities on social media, after that they learn bad culture. Consequently, people engage in bad activities on social media to imitate celebrities.
On the other hand, there are several reasons why others believe that media coverage of celebrities. One of the major causes is that celebrities show personal, expensive, and costly lifestyles in the media. For example, any young person watches celebrities’ lives in the media; therefore, this person wants a costly and expensive life. As a result, young people waste money in life. Another major reason is that television shows celebrities’ lives, which wastes time. Currently, people see celebrities life then waste person life. However, old and young people spend important time on media.
In conclusion, Media coverage of celebrities has a negative effect in people.I strongly agree that people’s lives are negatively affected by celebrities.
