In this globalizing era, most of the citizens of low-income countries tend to move to developed nations. However, it is often said that skilled people should be required to stay in their own country. In contrast, some believe that a person should have the freedom to choose in which country he wants to live or work. In this essay, I will evaluate both sides of the given argument.
On the one hand, there are numerous reasons why people are in favor of this statement that doctors and engineers need to work in their homeland. Perhaps the main reason behind this is: it may make a country talentless.Fir example, expert workers, such as doctors and engineers are considered as a backbone of a nation. Therefore, if they migrate to another place, it will be catastrophic for that particular nation.This is because,engineers play a key role in advancement of technological sector,whereas medical professionals developed health-care sector.
On the other hand, although it has some disadvantages, if a person forced to live in his motherland is not justified. Firstly, it can restrict a high professional person’s ability to work. For instance, if a craftsman desired to move to another country but he can’t go, it will affect his mental well-being. In addition, sometimes he may do any false work which is not good for the country or its civilians. Secondly, it can violate the civil rights.
To sum up, after examining both views of the topic, I firmly feel that skilled individuals should have the opportunity to work in other countries if they desired
