Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

People hold different views about social media. While some argue that social media influences people’s behavior or thinking on young individuals, Others think that it provide many advantages to their live. Personally, I believe that it is important to use social media in moderation.

The position of the former group can be reasoned with the following argument. As for them, the use of social media negatively affects young people’s psychological well-being. For example, many young individuals spend a significant amount of time on social media platforms. As a result, they may experience constant distraction and overthinking, which makes it difficult for them to concentrate on important tasks such as studying. Therefore, the short and different emotional videos make young people not only overthink, but also weaker and distracted.

The members of the latter group, however, have their own reason to justify their position. According to them, enhance quality of virtual interaction and communication around the world. In the modern world, a key factor for success is communication with different people. On online communities, young people can make friends from different country, It helps them to broaden horizons and learn various skills. For instance, communicating with people from different cultures can improve language ability and increase cultural awareness.

As for my point of view, I believe that it is important to use social media in moderation. In today’s world, many young people use social media for negative purposes. For instance, watching short and emotionally stimulating videos can sometimes make them feel stressed, anxious, or overly excited. Because of this, many parents tend to focus only on the negative aspects of social media rather than its benefits. However, if young people use social media in moderation, it can improve their mental well-being, broaden their horizons, and enhance virtual interaction. Overall, the problem does not depend entirely on social media itself, as it was created to help people gain information from around the world. Therefore, if young people manage their time wisely, society may begin to see more positive aspects of social media.

In conclusion, although people’s views on social media vary. I am convinced that a key of using social media in a balanced way would be change so many people beliefs about social media.
