It is no wonder that people, who are working in senior positions in senior positions, earn a lot of money because their work demands a lot of effort and responsibility. Although these salaries, that are considered excessive, can worry some individuals, it is impossible to deny the fact that they are proportionate to top executives’ workload.
To begin with, individuals, who have been appointed to leadership positions, take on a wide range of jobs. For example, a head of sales in an IT company should be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales function, analyzing market trends and identifying new opportunities. The other reason is that leaders, who are having to deal with a great responsibility for their decisions, should give clear tasks to their subordinates because tasks ,that have been set incorrectly, may lead to huge losses for the company, let alone a huge number of workers ,who are wasting their time. Additionally, it is not an uncommon occurrence when top executives take part in important meetings with multinational companies.
It is precisely for these reason leadership, who are pressed by a wide range of tasks and requirements, should make much more money than ordinary workers. Otherwise, more competent employees will be reluctant to take on such demanding requirements. The next reason why this is justified is that ordinary workers, who are required to execute only orders, don’t have as much labor. Moreover, if something goes wrong at a high level, a common employees are less likely to be liable because they are responsible only for a small part of the whole work.
In conclusion, top executives hired in important positions tend to overcome challenging, unconventional tasks at their jobs, and an ordinary worker is not able to do that, so huge salaries are absolutely deserved
