Nowadays, going abroad for purpose of working and studying is becoming incresingly popular. For many people moving abroad is a great chance. In this essay, I will discuss some of the reasons why going overseas is so popular and some of the challenges that can be faced.
One of the primary reasons for migration can be a better quality of life. It is widely known that many countries offer a higher standard of healthcare, education, and social security, which can greatly improve living conditions. In addition, people may probably choose to move to other countries to access better education. What I mean by this is that many prestigious universities mostly offer better facilities and career prospects, making them attractive to students worldwide. Thus, due to these mentioned benefits more and more individuals are deciding to live abroad.
Turning to the other side of the argument, major problem that can be faced by immigrants is cultural differences. The culture and customs of the country that they have visited can be completely different from their own one, making it challenging to adapt to community in initial times. Another problem of migration is language barriers. Migrants may not speak the local language fluently, mostly making it difficult to interact with locals and find jobs. As a result they may struggle to integrate into the new society, leading to feelings of loneliness.
In conclusion, starting life in another country is not easy, but still people are moving due to better quality of life and higher education, but there are actually some drawbacks with cultural differences and language barriers. However, I strongly believe that the benefits of migration eventually outweigh any negatives which are mostly temporary.
