The world’s development that we see in the 21st century is magnificent. The groundbreaking science achievements or technological breakthroughs. The countries are on the advanced level, in early centuries there were challenges like wars, luck of food, devastating pandemics. Nowadays states have different dilemas and aspirations for future. Some believe that economic growth should be number one priority for country, others think that protection and human rights are more important. In this essay I will discuss both views and give my opinion.
On the one hand, strong economic give the stability and safe place for people to live. More money country has more developed infrastructure will be available for its habitants. Economic development also gives opportunity to have up to date technology for different service sectors. Modern transportation, futuristic machines for medicine. Strong economy also gives opportunity to have qualified and equipped army.
On the other hand, humanization is on the stage were mental health and all the aspects connected to it is very important. The modern world that people live in now was shaped greatly over the last century. Women have rights to vote, there is free will to express your opinions easily, today it is even possible to change your gender and how you want to be addressed. The primary education is available for everyone. The society is on the advanced level of its development. All above mentioned is the result of prioritizing human rights and making it the main focus for the country.
To sum up, in my opinion the world that is parts of the 21st century history has different approach to everything and individuals come first, therefore states’ first priority should be citizens and their rights.
