It has been observed that the environment is improving. Although some people believe that they can do nothing to improve the environment, only huge companies and governments can make a difference. I firmly agree with the given statement. My inclination is elaborated in the ensuing paragraph and relevant examples.
The foremost argument to justify my stand is that people are not allowed to change it. The environment has different problems such as climate,air pollution,water pollution, and also ecology and people do not have the power to change it. For instance, you should get permission before planting a tree. Besides this, it is also true that governments can introduce national laws that force environmental protection, something individuals cannot achieve alone. This one measure declined pollution nationally and altered the whole car industry. No single initiative, like recycling, could bring about such a significant national transformation. This demonstrates how decisions made by the government have a direct and significant effect on the environment. For instance, the government of Norway required all new cars sold after 2025 to be electric.
Furthermore, the other reason to prove my point is that governments carry the main responsibility for improving the environment because environmental protection directly benefits them through economic growth, public health, and international reputation. This helps the government because healthy people work better, the country looks cleaner, and more tourists come. So improving the environment is not only their duty but also beneficial for them.For example, when a government builds clean buses and plants more trees, the air becomes cleaner and people become healthier.
