Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Whether social media affects youngsters’ behavior or not has long been a debate by the majority of the population. The effects of social media on youngsters’ behavior far outweight for some reasons, which will be discussed in all aspects in this essay.

On the one hand, not only does social media affect youngsters’ behavior, but also it influences their personalities. Firstly, all those young people tend to be influenced by the unrealistic lifestyles that they admire and have a desire to have those high quality lives one day. This lackness leads them to compare themselves with all those influencers for a long time, and this consideration is most likely to end with being angry at themselves or even their families for the life standarts they can supply. This anger causes a change in their behavior. This situation even might lead them to behave their families disrespectfully. Moreover, such a case like young people’s broken familyship bonds, might make them misbehave with their friends. Secondly, as they expose some luxury items, that they can’t afford, they are most likely to feel jealous. This jealousy provides an uncomfortable and stressed life. They exhibit artificial arrogance to hide these new feelings from those around them.

On the other hand, a well-raised young person is not easily affected by the environmental triggers he/she exposed on social media. Simply put, a smart young person can distinguish between real life and social media, and as soon as they log out of their social media accounts, they disconnect from that artificial world.

To sum up, social media has an impact on young people’s attitudes, mainly in a bad way. Although a specific group of people might avoid on the negative effects of social media.
